Requiem for a Dream (ES) by Nast Marrero is a scenario adaptation of the movie with the same name.
This scenario was designed to explore the desperate attempts of the 4 characters to find meaning and relatedness in their lives.
As in the book and the movie, "Requiem" is a hardcore emotional ride to hell. Yet it has been designed with a no-bleed-left-behind aim.
The techniques in the game explore the boundaries between roleplaying and theater. It is built as a collage of micro-scenes and it relies heavily on the conductor role of the ever-present director. |
