There's a tradition of larps that apply real-world situations into new settings. Palestinian larpwright Mohamad Rabah's contribution to this year's programme goes into this tradition, applying a theme from the Arab Spring to a fiction set in Europe.
Chaos situation (PA) by Mohamad Rabah is a game about fictional world in Austria, where young people are suffering from unemployment, and they want to raise their voice and come up with solutions. A group of them where very brave to go for a strike against the government, they were sleeping in the streets for a week, but nobody listen to them. The games is a close allegory to some of the events that occured during the so-called Arab spring.
